Nick McCabe sent me this link showing me what Bubba Shobert is up to these days. I had some Lone Star Beef Jerky once and it was really good. Much better than the stuff I can find in stores around Indiana.

That is a great story and good to hear Bubba is carrying on the Lone Star Jerky reputation. Bubba was a novice dirt tracker in 1978. So was I. But. It seemed the “Jerky” was shared only with Experts, top Juniors, and the upper echelon of novices. Lucky for me, Noot Irvin was my traveling partner so I got to taste the best jerky I’ve ever had before or since. Hey Bubba. Can we get it Georgia?
