Randy Texter – Daytona 200 (1989)

Filed under: Flat Track, Road Racing — admin @ 10:01 pm

Here’s flat tracker Randy Texter proving he could road race as well in one of his five appearences in the Daytona 200. In 1989 Texter earned his best finish in the 200, a very respectable 16th. Not bad for an old dirt tracker up against an experience field of road racers with close to 80 starters.

Randy’s been going through some health issues of late. Here’s hoping that he recovers back to full health.

Thanks for checking out the site. That’s Daytona back in the chicane. Not too many photographers go back there to shoot because it takes so long to get back there and you miss a lot of the race getting there and back.
