Sean Osowski in the 1989 Daytona 600 Supersport race. Sean was from a racing family. His older brother Joey was one of the leading endurance road racers of the 1980s. Sean finished 22nd (just behind Stephen Mathews, who would become a multi-time vintage racing champ, and just ahead of Kevin Erion, who of course heads up Erion Racing today) in that year’s race in a field of 70 Supersport riders.
If I’m not mistaken the leathers Sean is wearing here were originally brother Joey’s Cycle Tech Racing leathers from the WERA National Endurance Championship squad of 1985.
