Exclusive 48-hour Ticket Discount Offered in Honor of Villopoto’s First Pitch

AURORA, Ill. (July 18, 2012) – Feld Motor Sports® announced today that two-time defending Monster Energy AMA Supercross, and FIM World Championship, Supercross Class Champion Ryan Villopoto will be accompanied by recently appointed Miss Supercross Dianna Dahlgren during the first pitch ceremonies at Angel Stadium, home of the opening race of the 2013 Monster Energy Supercross, season, before the Los Angeles Angels take on the Texas Rangers on Sunday, July 22 at 5:00 p.m.

The legendary Angel Stadium is a special place for Villopoto, having won four Supercross Class races at the unofficial home of Monster Energy Supercross. En route to his second consecutive Supercross Class Championship, Villopoto swept both races at Angel Stadium last year, including the season opener. During his Supercross Lites Class career at Angel Stadium, he won all three Main Events in 2007.

“It’s an honor to throw the first pitch for the Angels,” said Villopoto. “Angel Stadium is a special venue for supercross and I’ve had a lot of success there. It’ll be different to be out on a field instead of the stadium floor with dirt everywhere. It’s going to be a really cool experience.”

The 2013 Monster Energy Supercross season will mark Dahlgren’s third season in the Miss Supercross role. A fan favorite, Dahlgren will serve as the sport’s spokesmodel as well as a pit reporter at the 16 Feld Motor Sports-produced races across North America. Fans will have a chance to meet Dahlgren during the 2013 Monster Energy Supercross season. Also, beginning Wednesday, July 25, at Noon CT, the first of 10 webisodes, titled SX ed, featuring Miss Supercross will be released on the new YouTube.com/SupercrossLive.

Angel Stadium has hosted 57 Supercross Class main Events dating back to December 4, 1976, when Marty Smith won on a Honda.

A special ticket offer will be made to Monster Energy Supercross fans for the 48 hours following Villopoto’s first pitch (5:00 p.m. PT on Sunday, July 22) through Tuesday, July 24, 2012. Supervalue seats are just $20. Plus, for a limited time only, Adults can save $20 a 4-pack of tickets by using the password PITCH at www.Ticketmaster.com. Offer Excludes Club Level and $20 Supervalue Seats.

Additionally, Monster Energy Supercross fans can purchase Angels tickets at a 50% discount in select areas using the password SUPERX. Offer valid for 18 games through the end of the season beginning with the game on July 23, 2012 by logging onto www.angels.com/supercross.
