Aaron Yates gets a last-minute pep talk and perhaps some advice from his manager Cliff Nobles before the start of the 750cc division of the Suzuki GSXR Cup Final at the WERA GNF at Road Atlanta in 1993. This was the year that Yates really began making a name for himself. That year he scored four top-10 finishes in AMA 750 Supersport, including a sixth at Mid-Ohio. On this day he went on to take seventh in the Suzuki Cup (750cc) Final.
