Three-time AMA Grand National winner Danny Ingram (No. 31) leads Andrew Butler (34F) and Sam Lowe (48X) in very tight Heat race action Saturday night at Mid-America Speedway in Indianapolis. Ingram, one of the leading AMA Grand National riders of the late 1980s and early ‘90s is aiming to make a comeback in 2012. He’s been sharpening his skills at this gem of a short track on the far Southeast side of Indy. Ingram won a final Saturday night, as did Lowe. Look for more photos of the events here in the coming days.

This is awesome. I remember watching Mr. Ingram kicking ass at the Daytona short track races. I was thinking about him just the other day! I wish him luck and hope to see him winning in AMA soon.
