Buckwheat Racing (726) leads Team Tapscott, Team Velocity (996) and Gateway Racing (923) in a WERA Endurance event at Blackhawk Farms sometime in the late 1980s. Velocity went on to win the Mediumweight Production class. I have no idea the inspiration for Buckwheat Racing’s team name.     Probably the last year WERA ran at Blackhawk which I believe was ‘87.
