Hall ‘N Still Racing was a leading WERA National Endurance team formed by Jim Still and Kurt Hall in the late 1980s. In Sept. of 1990, Hall ‘N Still raced in the WERA National Eight Hour at Blackhawk Farms in S. Beloit, Ill., with riders Bruce Baldus, Michael Martin and Randy Gaddey. The Cincinnati based teamed felt they had a good chance of winning the Blackhawk Eight Hour. But then Hall ‘N Still fast man Martin fell sick and Baldus missed a connecting flight in Chicago. Baldus made it to the track just in time for the race and got his first taste of the tricky course at the start of the race. The team picked up Randy Gaddey to help fill in for the eight hour event. Once the kinks were worked out, Hall ‘N Still began working its way up in the standings, but by that time the Human Race Team, with riders Andy Fenwick teamed with Steve Rodden were in the lead by five laps. At the finish it was Hall ‘N Still taking second to the Humans.
