This is a photo of Hall of Famer Cook Neilson at Daytona in 2007 standing beside ‘New Blue’, an NCR Ducati Sport 1000S done in retro styling to honor Old Blue, the Ducati Cook rode to victory in the 1977 Daytona Superbike race. Cook was the only Ducati rider ever to win the Daytona Superbike event and Ducati commisioned NCR to build this motorcycle to commemorate the 30th anniversary of the Cook’s landmark victory.
